Chemical Remix's History
Chemical Remix, originally known as Girlz&Friends, started on January 23, 2006. When I was still playing on Neopets, I came upon the graphics site StarlightMKS. This site told how to make a website, which I had no idea how to make at the time. I had started making a Neopets help site (so original...literally one of a billion). I made one tutorial that night, and the next day at school my friend Blaine and I were talking. At that time we had been having some problems with another clique of girls (I won't go into everything, but when we made a club, they made one, when we made a site, they made a site, which can be found here...basically they were just real bitches.) So, we decided to make a website to help other girls with friendship problems, hence the name "Girlz&Friends." The whole "advice" thing never worked out; turns out you need a license to give advice. We might add it anyways. But, we still had content: stories (yes, mostly the same stories that are on the stories page now), games, polls, etc. We were still naive (well, I realize that now) about how to make your website look presentable (the proof is here.) So, eventually, Girlz&Friends did evolve from the "~*~Linkz~*~" sort of stuff to become what we are today. The site was then re-named "Chemical Remix" on October 3, 2007.
