Hello, my little cupcakes!
I just made/coded a new layout, entitled "Choke On The Drama." Of course, it's a song lyric. It's from the (completely amazing) song "The Girl's A Straight Up Hustler" by All Time Low. Part of the chorus is included around the top left corner of the header. Here's the whole chorus:
"Take off your makeup and put down the camera
Choke on the drama that makes me want to
Tear up the pictures, the pages you've saved
Creating a life of trends and make believe."
Wow, right? I love love love this song. I'm adding the music video to it as the YouTube Video of the Week.
This layout is quite different from the last one...you know what the difference is? It's more ME. I really like neon colors and black together. If it's too hard to read please let me know and I'll fix it! I'm still working on the blog headers. Otherwise, it's basically finished. Remember to help me out and report errors. =P
The favicon (the pink and lime green flashing lightening bolt next to the website title) also goes with this layout perfectly, don't you think?
I'll leave you with the end of the song:
"Carry on home, I'll be waiting miles and miles away
Leaving you to be forever seventeen
Cleaning up the messes that you've made."
edit time! Hi again! I've got all the coding finished layout-wise. Actually I've got the whole site re-coded (not sure about the tutorials...but 99% sure.) I'm kinda pissed off at FanUpdate because I just noticed that instead of using my beloved XHTML version of the line break tag, <br />, I have to use the ugly NORMAL version <br>. I'm not used to it! I need my space and slash! Wahh. Okay, I'm done whining. By the way, JANNAH, WHAT'S GOING ON WITH YOUR SITE? IT'S LIKE ALL...STRANGE.

The title comes from the line in the song "Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?" by Fall Out Boy: "They say quitters never win, but we walk the plank on a sinking ship."
Anyways, just posting to let you know that I'm getting a lot better sinus-wise...my eye is pretty much healed, my nose has started running a bit again (I'd better go catch it! Haha. Lame) and my left ear is completely stopped up. Otherwise I'm fine, though. I about threw up from blood loss last night but thanks to Coke and saltine crackers I didn't. Thank God. I haven't thrown up in six years, I'd like to keep my record going!
I'm also posting to let you know that all of the "For You" and "Tutorial" sections are completed; I'm PRETTY sure, but that's why I'm loading up SmartFTP and checking it. I'm also going to go through every page of the site and make sure it's as validated as possible. Love ya, bye =]

I'm listening to "Wake Me Up When September Ends" and I'm sick so I used my uber intelligence to coin the title. Yep. Have you noticed how many songs use the month "September" in them? I think it's cool because my birthday is September 26th so yeah. If Fall Out Boy come out with a "September" song I swear I'm just gonna die. Anyway, I'm not going to school today because I have pink eye and I swear, my body is being really disgusting. This is definitely the worst cold I've had and I hope I don't have a worse one because to sum it all up, IT SUCKS ASS. So, even though my mom and dad repeatedly told me not to strain my eyes on the computer, I'M GOING TO ANYWAYS YAY! I'm going to try and get through the MySpace section today and maybe some more in between my Guitar Hero playing. Have any of you seen a FOB music video/concert where Pete and Joe are spinning around? Probably, because they do that a lot...it's their signature move and all that. Anyway, my friend Ashley and I were playing GH Saturday and we were spinning while we were playing. It's really fun. I have to go let the cat out (and I suppose work on the MySpace section...) so bye =D

So, here's what I find so amazing.
Everyone's got a favorite band. (At least all the cool kids have favorite bands, everyone else has favorite singers/rappers/wtfever.) Say, one day, you discover a couple of new bands, and you're like, "Wow, they're really good." So for about a few weeks, they're kinda all you listen to. But, in the end, you're like, "But...they're not as good as -insert your favorite band here.-"
As you know, or should know, my favorite band is Fall Out Boy. I kinda know why, kinda don't. I just feel...connected? with them. I don't know what it is. I can just relate to their music.
I discovered Sugarcult and Taking Back Sunday a few weeks ago, and they're both awesome bands. But, in the end, I always go back to Fall Out Boy. Even when I discovered My Chemical Romance, Panic At The Disco, Paramore, etcetera, Fall Out Boy is still my favorite band.
Kind of hard to explain, but I'm thinking some of you will get it.
